Inspired by the hanging cane chairs of the 1960's, the Hokianga wire hanging chair feels like you are taking a holiday by sitting back, relaxing and enjoy the motion of the swing.
Each piece is hand crafted and means the straightness of the wire depends on where the wire is taken from on the roll making each chair completely unique.
These pieces are not flimsy and light weight but are designed to be used for years to come. All of the wire furniture is sprayed with a durable and rust resistant PVDF base cost before powder coating.
Due to our harsh climate, especially in coastal areas, the Hokianga Wire Hanging Chair also comes in a Stainless Steel base which is better suited for those wishing to use wire furniture outside. Like a white Teeshirt where every mark shows, a small amount of staining may still occur on lighter colourways outdoors.
When installing, ensure that there is enough clearance beneath and around the chair for it to swing, we recommend a swivel ring bolt for ceiling installations.
